Rights and takedowns

Creators upload the artwork on QTee Bot. We print and ship it. This page says who owns what, how to tell us something infringes your rights, and how to challenge it if your design was removed and should not have been.

You keep your artwork

You keep the copyright in everything you upload. We do not take ownership of it, we do not sell it anywhere else, and we do not license it to anyone.

Publishing gives us permission to do the job — to print your artwork on the products you list, to show it on your design page and in previews, and to use those images to advertise your listing. That permission is non-exclusive and it ends when you unpublish, except for orders already placed and shirts already printed, which we finish and ship.

What you promise us

When you publish a design you confirm: “I have the right to print and sell this artwork. It is not someone else's logo, brand, character, or photograph, and it does not use a real person's name or face without their permission.”

That applies whichever tool you used. An AI image generator will draw a brand or a character if you ask it to, and that it was generated is not permission to sell it.

Reporting something that infringes your rights

Every design page has a report link, and you do not need an account to use it. If you are the rights holder or acting for them, leave a contact address — a claim we can reply to takes the design off sale straight away, before anyone has reviewed it.

For a formal DMCA notice, write to legal@qteebot.com, our designated agent for copyright claims. Include the work being infringed, the link to the design, your contact details, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, a statement that the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act, and your signature.

We handle trademark, copyright, likeness claims through the same route.

If your design was removed and should not have been

Tell us. Write to legal@qteebot.com with the design link, why you have the right to use the artwork, your contact details, and a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake.

We pass it to whoever filed the claim. If they do not go to court within ten to fourteen business days, we put your design back.

Repeat infringement

3 sustained rights claims and we close the account and take its listings down. Sustained means a person reviewed it and agreed — a report someone filed and we dismissed does not count against you.

Who prints this

Shirts are printed and shipped by our fulfillment partner. That is why a claim sent to us gets acted on faster than one sent to them: we can take a design off sale in minutes.
